i remember curious george bush the-what-me-worry? kid from yale
via texas and his big brother tom cheynie, no dick it was, from yale
via wyoming oil men from different western states gave the ticket
variety and a mix of charm and smarm more vivacious than mussolini
neither would look good with an adolf rotsbremse under his nose
fortunately naomi wolf's great aunt could sniff out the rezemblintzes
tell the big girl to make some sense of this and do better than pretzel
mr. pretzel took a nom de plume "sebastian haffner" not the one & only
good german but pretty damn close to it in his day because everyone
not just snevil chamberlain wanted sooooo badly to look the other way
or
jump right in!
it's worse today

true conservers conserve
True Conservers Conserve in 21st Century
from an anarchist=libertarian=decentralist=ecological perspective
"government that governs least governs best"
the historical political spectrum has always revealed
a statist=totalitarian=authoritarian right (20th century fascism)
a statist=totalitarian=authoritarian left (20th century communism)
both of which have been delusional, destructive and deadly
in relation to both humanity and Nature
both statist left and statist right have been hell bent upon militarism
power, control, using different delusional/ideological frameworks
to achieve the same power-over, control, domination goals
nowadays militarism, war and obsolete megaweapons
no longer assert power, control populations, achieve policy goals
no matter how worthy, or unworthy, they may be
radicle ("rooted") decentralization and conserving consensus
locally and bio-regionally
are the only paths any rational citizen can take
toward peace, the common GOOD, eco-balance
common decency
daddy bush's iraq war
clinton's iraq war
shrub's iraq war
obama's iraq war
a million dead inside iraq
our economy on the rocks
have convinced me
time to unite moderate left & moderate right
the liberals & the libertarians
the independents and alienateds
as a conserving consensus to end STATE-ism
(Statist Totalitarian Authoritarian Triumphalist Elitism)
waging unilateral, preemptive, perpetual wars
on a world that can no longer be controlled by force
as people begin to notice that obama elected is still trapped
in the same failing war economy that we fell into in 1960-61
(Ike's speech on the miilitary industrial complex 50 years ago)
all the rip van winkles will be invited to wake up
to the warnings of the floundering fathers
deja vu all over again each day
news from mogadishu & bombay
on high definition digital array
an america armed to the teeth
dare not let its children out to play

time for the great transition
why we need a great transition
the nef book says:
climate change
peak oil
ecosystem pressure
the trends:
loss of wetlands
loss of mangrove areas
loss of coral reefs
loss of fresh water
loss of forests
loss of fisheries
loss of species
at 100 to 1000 times the normal rate
seven solutions:
the great revaluing
the great redistribution
the great rebalancing
the great localization
the great reskilling
the great economic irrigation
the great interdependence

another sonette solution
republicans know only perpetual war of terror
and total corpstate waste
democrats try hard to destroy the world with progress
growth, development & 'good taste'
this leaves a huge gaping whole
where healthy conserving ought to be
an emptiness filled with passives and bewilderds
trying to find a place
libertarian socialism of the jazz band
the working paradigm of nola's 2nd line
Declaration of In(ter)depenDance
is something for each body to define
tuba mira contains the poems & slogans
spargens sonum is our design
