bring them home
it's so simple
bring them home
well regulated militia
in each state
planting trees instead of hate
invest in peach trees
give a peach to a sick child
invest in bombs
democracy defiled

toward The T Party
the great Transition needs resequencings and repetitions for USA
the great Reskilling puts the jubilation of our children first - HEY!
the great Localisation means do it now, call a neighbor - SAY. . . ? . . . . . !
the great InterdependAnce local Steps to Echology of Mind - HOORAY!
the great Economic Irrigation means giving berkshares away - TODAY!
the great Revaluing asks U what's the next rite step on ur MIDDLE WAY?
the great Rebalancing finds many delicate scales that really WEIGH!
the great Redistribution of local sociableness delivered by one horse sleigh. . . .

Dr. Bill Keepin 1992
[these are Keepin's words from a speech
rearranged to look like a poem]
renewable technologies for a sustainable energy future
on the context of renewable energy development
Vietnamese monk Thich Nhat Hanh has said:
"What we most need to do is to hear within ourselves
the sounds of the earth crying"
it becomes clear
that what we label as a crisis in our environment
is equally as much a crisis within ourselves
a crisis of human consciousness and values
there are several dimensions to this that actually serve
as hidden driving forces for the ecological crisis:
one is the psychological pollution
continual bombardment of corporate advertising
and the consumer culture
another is the dominance by an hegemony
the masculine gender
& related problems of class and racial oppression
a third is the epistemological tyranny of western science
and market economics
finally
the spiritual bankruptcy of secular technological modernism
if we ignore these aspects of our current dilemma
then the solar technologies that I have outlined
could actually serve to hasten ecological collapse
because energy would be removed as a constraint
on a forward stampede
if we embrace these deeper dimensions
accounting for their physical
social
cultural
spiritual implications
then solar energy and renewable sources
can provide abundant energy for all human societies
on earth
and free us once and forever
from the ravages of fossil fuels and nuclear power

support your local thinkthank
a strong interest in prioritizing
1) eco-balance
2) peace-play
3) the full and free expression of young children as dancers
drummers poets singers cartoonists instrument players
mimes sculptors comedians dramatizers
Wanted: people who will "crawl for Congress" as candidates
in all 435 Congressional districts for 12 to 20 minutes a day
as 7th generation paleocons with the above priorities
immediate goals and action
cultivating the free and full expression of children
comes first because it is deeply satisfying
and the peace movement is small elderly
needs many young people who are fully alive
not technococooned
not alienated
not addicted
not passive consumers
a large and lively peace movement
diverting resources
from stewpit counterproductive wasteful wars
to ecological problem solving
will make radicle (rooted) decentralism
Jeffersonian yeoman farming communities
free states
retribalization
participatory democracy & sociable socialism
local music & dance traditions
possible and sustainable now
& for the 7th generation
& beyond
peace ecological balance children @ play
homo ludens collaboratus (r species being) the American way
this is the mom the libertarian apple pie has been missing
Old Mothernature OMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmm
so simple -- "mom & apple pie" the very pie mother mary
imagined eve cooking up for her man adam full of know-how
modest nourishing reality-as-it-is-Nature feeds us every day
in every way no more no less, enuf for life -- free of stuffff

frogs'r us
there's a reason to the season
this is no bog nor a blog
woke this a.m to plog a chorus of frog
happy to hear them
they're in danger like us
unlike gus can't take the bus
can't plan like stan but neither can man
no long term thinking on a scale grand
pot slowly hotter yet we make no fuss
