the geezer in the mirror doesn't text doesn't twitter
no more dither in his slither as he laughs the laughing song
entering labor day weekend a day late, he accepts his fate
need not learn the stewpit dog tricks from teens and tweens
but what of infants and toddlers with iphoning moms & dads
& the superficial facebook friendships they will wish they never hads
